Kalakalam... (Malayalam)

Though this is an old song, I happened to hear it only recently. And what more? I got hooked to this song. There's a rare blend of folk and romantic beat about this song.

My recording is really bad. Please bear with the inconvenience.

Lyrics:

Kalakalm kaayalolangal paadum kathakal
Kalakalm kaayalolangal paadum kathakal
Oru muthu polaam penkidaavin

Alliyambala kadavil... (Malayalam)

Aha! This is one of my most fav. old Malayalam romantic songs. The lines are so simple and the song is so light and without much nuances. The young voice of K. J. Yesudas was so fresh and nice to listen to. I happened to get a karoke of the song and didn't waste much time before I memorised the lines of the song and tried singing it. I enjoyed singing with the simple melody of this song. Tell me what you feel about this one.

Lyrics:

Alliyaambal kadavillinnarakkyu vellam
annu nammal onnayi thuzanjille kothumbu vallam
Nammude nenjilaake anuraaga karikkin vellam
annu nenjilaake anuraaga karikkin vellam

Pinne thandondinja thaamara njan konduvannappol
Penne ninkavilil kandu mattoru thaamarakkadu
Penne ninkavilil kandu mattoru thaamarakkadu...

Anuraga lola... (Malayalam)

This is one of my all time fav. love songs. This song is from a movie called 'Dhwani' and rendered by K.J. Yesudas and Janaki. The music director is Naushad and hence a Hindustani touch to all the songs in 'Dhwani'.

The lyrics:

Thara ra ra ara ….aa…aa…aa..

(M) Anuraga lola gathri,
Varavayi neela rathri.
(F) Ninavin marandha chashakam,
Nenjil pathanja rathri. (Anuraga... rathri)

(M) Layalasya kala kanthi,
Saghi ninte roopamenthi.

(M)Oli thedi nila pookkal,

(M) Swara heena veenayil nee,

(F) Ee maril mugham cherthu,

Minnale nee vandhadhaenadi... (Tamil)

This is a lovely song from the movie 'May Madham' originally rendered by S.P.B to the tunes of A.R. Rehman. I love this song and hence the attempt. This time around, I'm singing with a karoke on the background. I'm using my Sony Ericsson W550i mobile phone to record me-self singing (as always). No proper mixing device has been used. So kindly bear with this amateurish attempt. I've absolutely no idea how this would turn out to be?

So here is a karoke singing sans any mixing device, proper mic set or any kind of filters. Just plain singing along with the tune of A.R.

The lyrics:

Minnalae nee vandhadhaenadi,
En kannilae oru kaayamennadi,
En vaanilae nee maRaindhupoana maayam ennadi,
Sila naligai nee vanthu ponatho,
En vadigai athu venthu ponatho,
Minnalae en vaanam unnai theduthen. (2)

(Minnalae...)

Kan vizhiththu paarththapoadhu kalaindha vannamae,
Un kairaegai ondru mattum ninaivuchchinnamae. (2)
Kadharik kadhari enadhu ullam udaindhu poanadhae,
Ingu sidharippoana sillil ellaam unadhu bimbamae.
Kanneeril theevalarththu kaaththirukkiraen,
Un kaaladiththadaththil naan pooththirukkiraen.

(Minnalae...)

Paalmazhaikku kaaththirukkum boomi illaiyaa,
Oru pandigaikku kaaththirukkum saami illaiyaa. (2)
Vaarththai vara kaaththirukkum kavign illaiyaa,
Naan kaaththirundhaal kaadhal innum meeLumillaiyaa.

Mummer's Dance

Thank you Joanne May for introducing me to this fabulous singer and also for introducing me to Celtic music. It's been a long time since I heard anything so deep and intense. Listening to Loreena voice was like listening to the song of a ghost from a far away dessert. Such magical haunting she creates with her voice! And the composition of that song took me to a trance! I would've listened to it at least 20 times by now. And even when I'm not listening to it, the sound of the violin, the accordion and Loreena's voice keep ringing in my head!

This is but a humble try at singing that song. And guess what? I couldn't sing it without trying to imitate the background score of this fabulous piece of music. Hope none finds it too wired that I had to create the music with nothing but my own voice.

And a word of apology to Joanne May if she feels that I've so cold heartedly murdered her favourite musical piece. But I was helpless Joanne. I couldn't help but sing this out to a crowd and see how much I faired! It was so inspiring!

The lyrics:

When in the springtime of the year
When the trees are crowned with leaves
When the ash and oak, and the birch and yew
Are dressed in ribbons fair

When owls call the breathless moon
In the blue veil of the night
The shadows of the trees appear
Amidst the lantern light

We've been rambling all the night
And some time of this day
Now returning back again
we bring a garland gay

Who will go down to those shady groves
And summon the shadows there
And tie a ribbon on those sheltering arms
In the springtime of the year

The songs of the birds seem to fill the wood
That when the fiddler plays
All their voices can be heard
Long past their woodland days

We've been rambling all the night
And some time of this day
Now returning back again
we bring a garland gay

And so they linked their hands and danced
Round in circles and in rows
And so the journey of the night descends
When all the shades are gone

"A garland gay we bring you here
And at your door we stand
It is a sprout well budded out
The work of Our Lord's hand"

We've been rambling all the night
And some time of this day
Now returning back again
we bring a garland gay (2)

Varamanjaladiya... (Malayalam)

This is the end of a very happening hectic day. I stumbled upon this song as I was browsing the net for some good music while I was working on my assignments. And I had to stop and sing this to you 'coz this is another one of my very very fav. songs in Malayalam. This song sung by Sujatha is from the movie 'Pranaya Varnangal' composed by Vidyasagar.

The lyrics:

Varamanjalaadiya raavinte maaril oru manju thulliyurangi

Top of the world...

Ah! This is a tribute to my most favourite English singer of all time, Karen Carpenter of The Carpenters. And this song which she so easily sung was not that easy for me. But I sure felt like on "Top of the world" after singing this one.

And Steve, I'm sure you'd be happy to see this post.

The lyrics:

Such a feelin's comin' over me
There is wonder in most everything I see
Not a cloud in the sky
Got the sun in my eyes
And I won't be surprised if it's a dream.

Everything I want the world to be
Is now coming true especially for me
And the reason is clear
It's because you are here
You're the nearest thing to heaven that I've seen.

I'm on the top of the world lookin'
down on creation
And the only explanation I can find
Is the love that I've found ever
Since you've been around
Your love's put me at the top of the world.

Something in the wind has learned my name
And it's tellin' me that things are not the same
In the leaves on the trees
And the touch of the breeze
There's a pleasin' sense of happiness for me.

There is only one wish on my mind
When this day is through I hope that I will find
That tomorrow will be just the same for you and me
All I need will be mine if you are here.

I'm on the top of the world lookin'
down on creation
And the only explanation I can find
Is the love that I've found ever
Since you've been around
Your love's put me at the top of the world.

Sili hawa chhoo gayi... (Hindi)

This is another one of my very fav. songs from a movie called 'Libaas' and sung by none other than the Nightingale of India, Lataji. Please click here to listen to the original. Once again, I attempted to sing a song that required a lot of breath in me which I don't have now, 'coz of my smoking habit. I've given my best shot. I need your feedback to know how much I scored on this one.

The lyrics:

Sili hawa chhoo gayi,
Sila badan chhil gaya. - 2
Neeli nadi ke pare,
Gila sa chaand khil gaya.
Sili hawa chhoo gayi,
Sila badan chhil gaya.

Tumse mili jo zindagi,
Humne abhi boyi nahin. - 2
Tere siva koi na tha,
Tere siva koi nahin.
Sili hawa chhoo gayi,
Sila badan chhil gaya.

Oh, aah

Jaane kahan kaise shaher,
Leke chala yeh dil mujhe. - 2
Tere bagair din na jala,
Tere bagair shab na bujhe.
Sili hawa chhoo gayi,
Sila badan chhil gaya.

Jitne bhi tai karte gaye,
Badhte gaye yeh faasle. - 2
Milon se din chhod aaye,
Saalon se raat leke chale
Sili hawa chhoo gayi,
Sila badan chhil gaya.
Neeli nadi ke pare,
Gila sa chaand khil gaya.

La la la la la la la, la la la la la la la

Thoda thoda ... (Tamil)

Wouldn't say much about this song except that the original is a duet from the Tamil movie 'Indira', sung by S.P.B and Chitra. They are two of the most popular voices in Indian musical arena and to attempt a duet by the both was something very close to being insane on my part.

Lyrics:

(Male) - Thoda thoda malarvadhenna poovae
thottavanai marandhadhenna?
Paarvaigal pudhidhaa sparisangal pudhidhaa
mazhai vara boomi maruppadhenna?

(Thoda thoda)

(Male) - Andha ila vayadhil aatrangarai manalil
Kaaladith thadam padhiththoam yaar azhiththaar
(Female ) - Nandhavanak karaiyil nattu vaiththa chediyil
Mottu vitta mudhal poovai yaar pariththaar

(Male) - Kaadhalan theendaadha pookkalil thaenillai
(Female ) - Idaiveli thaandaadhae en vasam naanillai

(Female ) - Thoda thoda malarndhadhenna poovae
Chudachchuda nanaindhadhenna
Paarvaigal pudhidhu sparisangal pudhidhu
Narambugal pinnappinna nadukkamenna

(Thoda thoda)

(Male) - Panithanil kuliththa paalmugam kaana
Irubadhu vasandhangal vizhi valarththaen
(Female ) - Pasiththavan amudham parugidath thaanae
Padhinaezhu vasandhangal idhazh valarththaen

(Male) - Idhazh moodum malaraaga idhayaththai maraikkaadhae
(Female ) - Malar kollum kaatraaga idhayaththai ulukkaadhae

(Male) - Thoda thoda malarvadhenna poovae
thottavanai marandhadhenna?
Paarvaigal pudhidhaa sparisangal pudhidhaa
mazhai vara boomi maruppadhenna?

In the last post Lena @ What Lena Leaves / Bits On The Nippy Side asked me to translate the lyrics so that a larger audience can appreciate the song. But Lena, though I speak three of the regional languages in India, I'm not very well versed with the literature of them all. There are some words in Hindi and Tamil which I simply can't understand. If it's anything in Malayalam, I'd have done the translation easily as it is my mother tongue. But the others...

It takes an expert to translate poetry into another language and I'm no expert. And I can clearly see that the lines, even after translation would make no sense. But that's 'coz you don't know the situation of this song in that movie. Besides, Indian lyricists use all symbolic elements to say things and add beauty to his lines which is something not seen much in an English song. The lines in an English song is much more direct and simple and are easier even for us to follow than our regional songs.

The hero and the heroin were childhood friends and they met after a long long time. The love that they had in their childhood had not faded and only transformed into a more male-female love. The guy went to live in a city and returned as an urban male while the girl grew up in their village and remained a naive, innocent las and hence she gets the shivers at the way he looks at her or touches her. But they are in love for sure. And that's a very brief explanation of the situation of the song. Now, you can make some sense out of this, I guess! Any ways as a first attempt I'd translate this song 'coz the lines are simple and I can understand every word of it. So, here I go -

(Male) - O flower, that bloomed at my touch,
How come you forgot the one who touched you? (2)
Is there anything new in the way I look at you or,
Is there anything new in the way I touch you?
Is the earth waiting for the rains to come? (2)

(Male) - O flower, that bloomed at my touch,
How come you forgot the one who touched you?

(Male) - Who wiped off the foot prints at the river banks when we played together as kids?
(Female) - And who plucked the first flower that bloomed in the shrub that we planted on the river bank?

(Male) - There would be no honey in the flower that is not attended by a lover.
(Female) - O! Please do not cross your limits for I've no control over myself.
O flower, that bloomed at a touch,
Why did you get drenched in the rain?
There is something new in the way you look at me.
There's something new in the way you touch me.
Or else why should I get the shivers in my nerves at all that?

(Female) - O flower, that bloomed at a touch,
Why did you get drenched in the rain?

(Male) - I waited 20 long years to see that sweet face of yours washed by the dew drops.
(Female) - And I preserved that ambrosia for 17 long years to satisfy your hunger.
(Male) - Please don't let your heart be like the flower hidden by the leaves.
(Female) - And you don't let your heart be like the flower caught in a wind.

(Male) - O flower, that bloomed at my touch,
How come you forgot the one who touched you?
Is there anything new in the way I look at you or,
Is there anything new in the way I touch you?
Is the earth waiting for the rains to come?
O flower, that bloomed at my touch,
How come you forgot the one who touched you?

Kaisi hai ye, rut ki jisme (Hindi)

This is a very sweet song from an even sweeter movie, 'Dil Chahta Hai'. Also the toughest song I've attempted so far. I tried singing it again and again and yet couldn't make it with anything near perfection. I mean, there are high notes and... Ah! I was gasping for breath after singing the whole stunt. I never thought it was so difficult to sing. Hat's off to Srinivas to sing to the tune of the trio musicians, Shankar-Eshaan-Loy.

Lyrics:

Kaisi hai ye rut ki jisme,
Phool banke dil khile, (2)
Khul rahi hai rang sare,
Khul rahi hai khushubuye,
Chandni jhrne khataye,
Geet baarish thithliya,
Hum pe khogaye hai, sab mehruba.

Kaisi hai ye rut ki jisme,
Phool banke dil khile...

Dekho, nadi ke kinare,
Panchi pukare, kisi panchi ko.
Dekho, ye jo nadi hai,
Milne chali hai, sagar hi ko.
Ye pyar ka hi sara hai karva.

Kaisi hai ye rut ki jisme,
Phool banke dil khile...

Ooo... Kaise, kisi ko bathaye,
Kaise ye samjhaye, kya pyar hai?
Jisme bandhan nahi hai,
Our na koi bhi deewar hai.
Suno pyar ki nirali hai dastha.

Kaisi hai ye rut ki jisme,
Phool banke dil khile,
Khul rahi hai rang sare,
Khul rahi hai khushubuye,
Chandni jhrne khataye,
Geet baarish thithliya,
Hum pe khogaye hai, sab mehruba.

Kaisi hai ye rut ki jisme,
Phool banke dil khile...

Billy Bayo & This world is not my home...

This song is a dedication to my dad who passed away on the 6th of June, 1995 (Click on the link and it'll take you to my other blog where I've written a story as to why this song for today's post). The original was by Jim Reeves. I think i don't have to say much about him. Well, if I have to, I'd suggest you just click on his name and it'll give you a better idea of who he was.

The lyrics of the song for those who are interested:

This world is not my home I'm just a passing through,
My treasures are laid up somewhere beyond the blue.
The angels beckon me from heaven's open door,
And I can't feel at home in this world anymore.

Oh Lord you know I have no friend like you.
If heaven's not my home then Lord what will I do?
The angels beckon me from heaven's open door,
And I can't feel at home in this world anymore.

I have a loving mother just over in Gloryland,
And I don't expect to stop until I shake her hand.
She's waiting now for me in heaven's open door,
And I can't feel at home in this world anymore.

Oh Lord you know...

Just over in Gloryland we'll live eternaly,
the saints on every hand are shouting victory.
Their songs of sweetest praise drift back from heaven's shore,
And I can't feel at home in this world anymore

Oh Lord you know...

This world is not my home | Music Upload

I've tweaked the lyrics a bit in this song (replaced "mother" with "father" and "her" with "his"

And for those who have already listened to that one, here's another one of my dad's fav. from Jim Reeves.

Lyrics:

Back about eighteen hundred and some,
A Louisiana couple had a red headed son.
No name suited him Jim Jack or Joe,
They just called him Billy Bayou.

Billy Billy Bayou watch where you go,
You're walkin' on quick sand and walk slow.
Billy Billy Bayou watch what you say,
A pretty girl'll get you one of these days.

Billy was a boy kinda big for his size,
Red hair, freckles and big blue eyes.
Thirteen years from the day he was born,
Bill fought the battles of the Little Big Horn.

Billy Billy Bayou watch where you go...

One sad day Billy cried "ho-ho"
I can whip the feathers of Geronimo.
He smarted off, the chief got mad.
This nearly ended our Louisiana lad.

Billy Billy Bayou watch where you go...

One day in 1878,
A pretty girl walked through Bill's front gate.
He didn't know whether to stand there and run,
He wound up married cause he did neighter one.

Billy Billy Bayou watch where you go...

Ah! One of my all time fav. song from the movie 'Lekin' and sung by none other than Lata Mangeshkar, known as the nightingale of India. I'm not going to say much about this one. Listen to this and see why this is an all time fav. of mine.

The lyrics for those who are interested:

Yara sili sili,

Nee manimukiladakal... (Malayalam)

Yet another one of my fav. Malayalam (my native tongue) songs rendered by Jayachandran and Chitra, two of the very gifted singers and composed by a new age composer Alphonse. Unlike the previous ones. This one is a slightly contemporary one. The lyrics makes absolute no sense as is the case with all the new age Malayalm songs. Just words scattered on a piece of paper and then rearranged to the fancy of the lyricist. But the melody is quite haunting. And this is a duet and a real stunt on my part to sing for both the male and the female. You wouldn't make out the difference though unless you're familiar with the song. Anyways... Here I go...

And the lyrics:

(Male) - Nee manimukiladakal aadi ulanjoru minnal,
Mizhikalil aayiram paribhavamezhuthiya meda thingal chantham,
Veeli poovin naanam.

(Female) - E njan, veru moru nadan pennu.
E njan, ninnilalinjaval mathram.

(Male) - Nee manimukil... naanam

(Male) - Minnalazhake onnu nillu,
Enthu daham, kandu nilkkan.
Kanni mazhaville, onnarikil nillu nee,
Nooru niramode, ennarikil nillu nee.

(Female) - Njanilayengil nin hridaya varnangalundo,
Neeyillayengil e pranaya madhurangalundo,
Athramelonnanu nammal.

(Male) - Nee manimukil... naanam

(Male) - Mudiyilazhakin neelaravu,
Odiyilaliyum sneha yamuna.
Meyilanayumbol marilina maanukal,
Swarna mizhi kandal, nalla paral meenukal.

(Male) - Nee ente devi, njan thozhuthu pokunna rupam.
(Female) - Nee enumenum en tharala sangeetha varnam.

Words

I don't think I've to say much about this one. Well, I tried singing like them. Don't know how good it turned out to be. Waiting for your responses to find out.

The lyrics:

Smile an ever lasting smile,
A smile can bring you near to me.
Don't ever let me find you gone,
'cause that would bring a tear to me.
This world has lost its glory,
Let's start a brand new story,
Now my love.
You think that I don't even mean,
A single word I say...

It's only words,
And words are all I have,
To take your heart away.

Talk in ever lasting words,
And dedicate them all to me.
And I will give you all my life,
I'm here if you should call to me.
You think that I don't even mean,
A single word I say...

It's only words,
And words are all I have,
To take your heart away.

It's only words,
And words are all I have,
To take your heart away.

da da da da da da da
da da da da da da da da da da
da da da da da da da
da da da da da da da da da da

This world has lost its glory,
Let's start a brand new story,

You think that I don't even mean,

It's only words,
And words are all I have,
To take your heart away.

It's only words,
And words are all I have,

It's only words,
And words are all I have,
To take your heart away.

Vaathil pazhuthil... (Malayalam)

A very popular Malayalam song composed by Shri. V. Dakshinamoorthy and sung by one of the greatest of Indian singers, Shri. K. J. Yesudas. The music is well known for the lyrical quality of one of the greatest romantic poet of Malayalam Lit. Shri. O. N. V.

I know, I haven't done full justice to this song. But I've never been good at singing in my mother tongue! Of all the good sense for music that I have, it's a personal disgrace that my sound or my rendition never suits the songs in Malayalm except a very few.

Anyways, here's the lyrics for those who're interested.

Lyrics:

Vaathil pazhuthilodenmunnil kunkumam,
Vaari vitharum thrisandhya pole.
Athilolamen idanaazhiyil nin kala madhuramam kaalocha keetu,
Madhuramam kaalocha keetu. (Repeat)

Hridayathin tanthiyil aaro viral thodum,
Madhuramam niswanam poole.
Ilakalil jalakalam ittuvizhum poole,
Uyiril amritham thalicha poole.
Tharala vilolam nin kaalocha keetu njan,
Ariyaathe koritharichupoi,
Ariyaathe koritharichupoi.

Vaathil pazhuthilodenmunnil kunkumam,
Vaari vitharum thrisandhya pole.
Athilolamen idanaazhiyil nin kala madhuramam kaalocha keetu,
Madhuramam kaalocha keetu.

Hima bindhu mughapadam chaarthiya poovine,
Madhukaram nokarathe uzharum poole.
Ariya nin kaalocha cholliya manthrathin,
Porulariyathe njan ninnu.
Nizhalukal Kalamezhuthunorenmunnil,
Mattoru sandhyayai nee vannu,

Ponmalai pozhuthu... (Tamil)

This is one of the earlier compositions of the music maestro Ilayaraja. This is a Tamil song from a movie called 'Nizhalgal' beautifully sung by none other than the great S. P. B. and one of my all time favourite song.

Lyrics:

Hai, ho, hum, la-la-la.

Pon malai pozhuthu,
Ithuvoru ponmalai pozhuthu.

Vanamagal nanugiral,
Veru udai punugiral.
Ithuvoru ponmalai pozhuthu.

Hum-hum-hum-hum, hai, ho, um, hum-hum-hum.

Aayiram nirangal jaalamidum,
Rathiri vasalil kolamidum. (repeat)
Vaanam iravukku paalamidum,
Paadum paravaigal taalamidum.
Poomarangal, saamarangal,
Veesatho, ithuvoru ponmalai pozhuthu.

Vaanam enakkoru boodhi maram,
Naalum enakkathu saithi tharum. (repeat)
Orunaal ulagam neethi perum,
Thirunaal nigalum theithi varum.
Keelvikalal veelvigalai,
Naan seiveen, ithuvoru ponmalai pozhuthu.

Vanamagal nanugiral,
Veru udai punugiral.
Ithuvoru ponmalai pozhuthu.

Hai, ho, hum, la-la-la.

Hum-hum-hum-hum, hai, ho, um, hum-hum-hum.

Kabhi kabhi... (Hindi)

Excuse me for singing in a language much alien to you. This is a song in a language called Hindi, one of the 20+ languages in my country and officially declared as the national language by the Govt.

Ah! Let my friends not hear this for they'd beat me to pulp if they hear me sing this song again! At least that's their threat. I can't blame them for threatening me so for I've sung this song on and off stage, I don't know how many times. People've become sick of listening to me sing this song but I still love this melodious piece.

Twenty Years Ago... (English)

What prompted me to sing this song is the comment left by Kaiserin Sisi who said the last song that I sang brought back memories "from the old good days". Ah! This is my fav. of the fav. Kenny Rogers song and that's simply for the reason that this song won me a prize in a district level music competition. And that was my first on-stage rendition of a song in a foreign language. Can't forget that day!!!

But hi! Look at this. 7 years back, some queer little boy, hardly 20 years of age, got on stage and sang a song that went, "life was so much easier, twenty years ago..."!!! Obviously, I guess. 'coz twenty years before I first sang that song, I or God was only contemplating to get me into my mom's womb! Life, truly should have been much more easier then (both for me and the others, I guess!).

Anyways... Here's the lyrics for the song, for those who're interested:

It`s been a long time since I walked
Through this old town
But oh how the memories start to flow
And there`s the old movie house
They finally closed it down
You could find me there every Friday night
Twenty years ago.

I worked the counter at the drugstore down the street
But nobody`s left there I would know
On Saturday mornings that`s where
All my friends would meet
You`d be surprised to know what a dime would buy
Twenty years ago.

All my memories from those days come gather round me
What I`d give if they could take me back in time
It almost seems like yesterday
Where do the good times go?
Life was so much easier twenty years ago.

I guess I should stop by Mr. Johnson`s hardware store
His only son was my friend Joe
But he joined the army back in 1964
How could we know he would never come back
Twenty years ago...

Crazy... (English)

First of all, let me thank all of you who took the pain to listen to my previous song and comment on it too! Well, that was a big encouragement. And here's yet another Kenny Rogers song.

Here I go - "Crazy for you..."

Lyrics:
Girl, there are no words to say,
What I feel in my heart.
And you. You're on my mind night and day.
And it hurts me when we're apart.
When you're not here by my side.
There is nothing in this world for me.

I guess I'm crazy, crazy for you can't you see?
And although you may think it's crazy,
Here is where I want to be,
I will always need your love,

Well now, I can see every dream,
When I look in your eyes.
And though things never are what they seem.
There is one thing that I realize,
That there's no doubt in my mind,
We can make this love go on forever.

I guess I'm crazy, crazy for you can't you see?
And although you may think I'm crazy,
Here is where I'll always be,
And I need you with me,
'coz you are the dream,
That finally came true for me.

And all my life there'll be no one else.
If I looked all my life,
There could be no one else.

And for the rest of my life,
All I need is you...

You Decorated My Life... (English)

This is a song by Kenny Rogers and one of my favs.

Kindly excuse the funny accent that I have while I sing in English.

For those who're interested, here's the lyrics for the song:

All my life was a paper once plain, pure and white.
Till you moved with your pen changin' moods now and then,
Till the balance was right.
Then you added some music, ev'ry note was in place,
And anybody could see all the changes in me, by the look on my face.

And you decorated my life, created a world where dreams area apart,
And you decorated my life by paintin' your love all over my heart,
You decorated my life.

Like a rhyme with no reason in an unfinished song,
There was no harmony life meant nothin' to me, until you cam along.
And you brought out the colors, what a gentle surprise?
Now I'm able to see all the things life can be shinin' soft in your eyes.

And you decorated my life, created a world where dreams are a part,
And you decorated my life by paintin' your love all over my heart,
You decorated my life.
